1   Workplace giving allows people to make donations to charity from their pre-tax salary, and is something Smartsalary customers have been doing for the past year for one of our charity partners Good Return. Good Return is a not-for-profit organisation, who offers microfinance loans to women in poverty in the Asia Pacific region, loans which help women expand their businesses and grow their income. 0 On 16 July the Federal Government announced a proposed change to FBT (fringe benefits tax) legislation. If passed by parliament, these changes will result in the removal of the tax concession for personal use of a novated lease vehicle.   Is the legislation in place now?
